Find Your Flow – Sunday Morning Yoga

Experience a rejuvenating start to your Sunday with seasonal outdoor yoga classes at the historic Hilltop Farm in Suffield, CT. These sessions, led by certified instructor Allison Zaczynski of Fit•Bliss with Allison, offer a unique opportunity to practice mindfulness and movement amidst the picturesque and peaceful backdrop of a historic farmstead.

The classes are designed for everyone, from absolute beginners to experienced yogis, fostering a sense of community and well-being. Participants gather on the lawn behind the landmark white barn, a setting that provides a serene escape from the hustle of daily life and a chance to connect with nature. Occasionally, the sessions may incorporate a yoga hike around the expansive property, allowing attendees to explore the walking trails and enjoy the scenic views of the surrounding woodlands, grasslands, and wetlands that stretch toward the Connecticut River.

A Historic Backdrop to Your Practice

What makes this yoga experience truly special is its location at Hilltop Farm, a site listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The farm was originally established in 1913 by George M. Hendee, the wealthy co-founder of the Indian Motorcycle Manufacturing Company, as a "gentleman's retirement farm" focused on prize-winning dairy and poultry operations.

Today, the site is preserved and managed by The Friends of the Farm at Hilltop (FOFAH), a non-profit organization dedicated to maintaining it as a recreational and educational destination for the community. The enormous, iconic white barn, often referred to as "Connecticut's Agricultural Cathedral," serves as a stunning architectural anchor for the landscape where your yoga practice takes place. The farm is also known for its active bald eagle nesting grounds and a popular on-site creamery, adding to the charm of your visit.

Stay Informed – Watch The Weather
