The Hilltop Farm Store and Creamery offers more than just a scoop of delicious ice cream, it serves up a taste of local history and a beloved community experience. Opened in the summer of 2022 on the grounds of the historic Hilltop Farm in Suffield, the creamery has quickly become a local favorite, known for its scenic views, friendly service, and wide selection of frozen treats.
The story of Hilltop Farm dates back to 1913, when it was established by George M. Hendee, the co-founder of the iconic Indian Motorcycle Manufacturing Company. During the 1930s, Hendee even ran a small roadside restaurant on the farm that sold Hilltop dairy products, including ice cream, making the modern creamery a revival of a decades-old tradition.

To commit to quality products, a welcoming atmosphere, and our role in preserving local history, Hilltop Creamery offers more than just dessert.
Owners Jason and Crystal Siemienkowicz, a local couple who gave up their office jobs to pursue their dream, manage the creamery. Jason, after researching the ice cream business and training with an Italian equipment manufacturer, brought his vision to life, blending historical preservation with modern, quality confections.
The creamery partners with local producers like Hastings Farm to source ingredients for its products, which include hard ice cream, soft serve, and seasonal gelato. Its menu offers a creative and rotating selection of unique hard ice cream flavors, as well as classic soft serve, milkshakes, sundaes, and floats.
The Hilltop Farm Store and Creamery has become a hub of community activity, attracting families and visitors who come to enjoy the sweet treats and the serene, pastoral landscape. The outdoor seating area offers panoramic views of the farm's fields and stunning sunsets. Beyond the creamery, the larger Hilltop Farm property provides space for community gardens, nature programs, and special events like Farm Fest and live music nights. The creamery regularly hosts its own events, such as weekend music, car shows, and fundraisers for local organizations.
