The Annual Bald Eagle Golf Tournament
The annual Bald Eagle Golf Tournament is the signature fundraising and social event for the Friends of the Farm at Hilltop (FOFAH), a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and restoring the historic Hilltop Farm in Suffield, CT. Held each year at the Suffield Country Club, the tournament combines a day of golf with community support for a meaningful cause.
Purpose and Impact
The primary goal of the tournament is to raise essential funds for the maintenance of Hilltop Farm as a valuable community resource. Proceeds from the event support:
Structural improvements and the ongoing restoration of the historic farm, development of educational programs for all ages and conservation and preservation efforts, including the protection of the farm's wetlands and the habitat for its namesake, the nesting bald eagles. The event's name is inspired by the bald eagles that have nested at the farm.

Conservation and Community at the Core
The "Bald Eagle" name is a powerful symbol of the farm's commitment to conservation. Hilltop Farm is home to an active eagle habitat, a fitting mascot for an event that champions environmental preservation. FOFAH works closely with the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) to protect the nesting eagles and their environment.
